Elranatamab is a recombinant bispecific B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-directed and CD3-directed antibody developed for the treatment of certain patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
Elranatamab is designed to simultaneously bind BCMA, which is highly expressed on multiple myeloma cells, and CD3, a component of the T-cell receptor complex on T cells. This dual-targeting mechanism brings T cells into close proximity to BCMA-expressing myeloma cells and promotes T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
