Edrecolomab is a murine monoclonal IgG2a antibody directed against the 17-1A antigen, also known as epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM). It binds to EpCAM present on epithelial cells and certain carcinomas and can recruit immune effector cells that contribute to antitumor activity.
